Black & Gold

While black and gold may be a classic combination, throw in shiny gold pants and what you have is anything but classic.
I love these statement gold Zara pants. They can be super dressy, or made more daytime dependant on what you pair them with.

Absolutely in love with this spin on a classic black shirt – sheer tails!! So much fun.

The outfit was made complete with some black & gold accessories.
Now don’t also forget the springtime pop of nail colour – here I opted for California Coral by Essie.

Little BLUE Jacket

I have been patiently (well mostly) waiting for the weather to be warm enough for me to rip the price tag off with glee and skip outside!!
Bewitched by this colour.
Infatuated with my new little blue jacket.

Casual lunch, shopping, work…it is just so versatile and fun.

A museum and a martini…

A perfect NYC day…
It started with a visit to the Guggenheim Museum to peruse their current exhibit, Picasso Black & White.
It culminated in a quaint UES bar with a delicious pear & cinnamon martini.

Drawing on the days planned adventure I used Picasso’s black and white theme as a basis for my outfit colour palette.

While I have to admit not all Picasso works are created equal, I did want to share two of my favourite pieces from the exhibit with you.
From the very beautiful to the very disturbing, the collection displayed is incredible viewing.
