Not much needs to be said other than:
(1) best Tuesday delivery ever
(2) I have waited a year
I heart Vogue – and especially the September issue!!

Romance is not dead – nor should it be.
Just take a look around Central Park. The couple on a picnic, the first date happening at the Boat House, the husband rowing his wife under the Bow Bridge.
Diane von Furstenberg coral creation adds its own romantic touch to this city escape.
The cut, colour, flowing fabric, the detail of the subtle pleating.

So here we are – Wanted Wednesday #2.
There may have been some controversy over WW #1 – specifically around the segment launching with a cuff and not my poison. Namely, shoes.
Fear not my friends – for this weeks wanted item is SHOES!
Christian Louboutin perfection – the Pigalle Spikes in Grenadine.
Pink, spiked and a 12cm (approx. 5 inch) heel.
Summertime should not preclude you from wearing black.
Au contraire – you just need to make it feel more summery with some florals, or a splash of colour!
My favourite colour this season has to be anything in the coral family. I am finding myself drawn to anything coral spotted on the rack.
So pretty and feminine.
So here is my version of a summertime “black” outfit.
Love this Alex Perry top with a beautiful big floral pattern, an interesting vest-like shape at the top and flattering pleats.
Floral top – Alex Perry
Skirt – Loft
Shoes – Christian Louboutin En Passant
Bag – DVF
Nail Polish – Haute As Hello by Essie
Hair donut – here
Enjoying my summer – hope you are too!

Forget the LBD (ok jokes) – but, what about the LITTLE BLACK SHORTS?
I love them in spring, I love them in summer.
I love them casual, i love them dressy.
I love them on The Hart Of Dixie and the resulting disruption they cause to the town of Bluebell.
This past Sunday, I channeled my inner Zoe Hart and took my favourite little black shorts out to Brooklyn.
Teamed up with a summery colour blocked tank – and my new Manolo Blahniks (their first excursion!!)
Colour block top (similar here)
Shorts – Loft (similar here)
Pumps – Manolo Blahnik Kandita-Mod Sandal
While some perceive them to be casual, I disagree and believe you can make the little black short a dressy statement.
Bring out the legs for summer.

A truly perfect day in the sun.
Attractive men battling it out while riding beautiful horses was already a seller. Throw in champagne, a postcard perfect view, an excuse to get dressed up and there is no way you could keep me away!

I am pretty much ready to run away to the South!
After a few days, I have fallen deeply in love with Charleston.
The food (yes I tried grits, and no they are not for me!), the cute buildings running along cobblestone streets, the history, markets, horse drawn carriages…
Added to this, it was perfect warm weather every day.
Ohhh so dreamy – leaving me in a pastel frame of mind.
Trying something new with my hair – I have finally purchased the hair donut (a few dollars from H&M – and they stock various sizes to suit everyone).
Result – AWESOME. It was super easy and took me no more than two minutes!!
Shorts – Loft
Top – Calvin Klein
Bag – Gucci
Shoes – PeepToe
Glasses – Chanel
Nails – California Coral by Essie
Off to watch Gone With The Wind now with my favourite leading southern man, Rhett Butler… quickly grab the smelling salts…

I was lucky enough to spend the Memorial Day holiday weekend in the South, by the beach.
The Isle of Palms, just twenty minutes out of Charleston, was beautiful. Long beaches, perfect weather – an amazing escape.
My tropic inspired dress comes courtesy of H&M – and their conscious collection.
So now you can feel good about a cute dress, at an incredible price, WHILE doing something better for the environment. Win, win and win.
Teamed up with some cute spring pumps, and my new venture the BIG HAT!
I have always been terrified of the large brimmed hat, but finally made the leap. Thoughts?
Dress – H&M

Shoes – Christian Louboutin Sling Back Sughero in Naturale
Here’s to many sunny days ahead.

While black and gold may be a classic combination, throw in shiny gold pants and what you have is anything but classic.
I love these statement gold Zara pants. They can be super dressy, or made more daytime dependant on what you pair them with.
Absolutely in love with this spin on a classic black shirt – sheer tails!! So much fun.
The outfit was made complete with some black & gold accessories.
Now don’t also forget the springtime pop of nail colour – here I opted for California Coral by Essie.
Pants – Zara
Top – BCBGMaxazria
Bracelet – MARC by Marc Jacobs
Shoes – Fendi
Remember, girls do love gold!

As soon as you put shiny black pants on – your inner rockstar cheers!
Mixing up my new favourite waxed black jeans with some bright reds. To this I added some silver and sparkle – then completed the look with a messy up do.
A fun evening outfit – glam rock inspired.
Red Top – Zara.
Black pants – Citizens Of Humanity.
Pumps – Christian Louboutin.
Bracelet – similar here.
I always wanted to be in a band – shame I can’t sing.
